Wow! What a Legacy!
I just read a blog that one of my friends wrote. It talked about how a man measured up. Of course, this isn't talking about how big or small he is physically, the size of his body, but rather the size of his impact on those around him. How much has he affected those he has come in contact with. Have you ever tried to figure out how you measure up? It is a pretty hard thing to do, at least for me. How many lives have you touched? Was it good or bad? How did that person feel after meeting you? I know it is not the best thing to live your life wondering what everyone thinks about you, because you can't please everyone, but there are some that are more important than others. I guess, ultimately, the question is "How will your children remember you?" What kind of example have you set for them? Was it one they would be proud to follow? To me, these questions are important. The legacy we leave means a lot. As a matter of fact we can still affect others even after we have gone on. In some cases that scares me. I just hope that the legacy I leave behind is good one. May yours be as well. Thanx for listening.

Listening?
I think it is more important to be somebody that people that matter to you can respect than it is to be someone everyone likes.

Agreed. You can't please everyone. I think the key words are "People that matter to you". Good Call Jake
